The length of time glow in the dark things glow, is directly related to the amount of time they are exposed to the light. More time exposed to light-greater the glow time. Simple as that.

Glow in the dark, put it near the light source.It glow longer.

Im guessing since it is a chemical reaction keep them cold while they are freshly glowing, then at the end warm or heat them up to have the rest of the chemicals react.

umm...only thing i know is for glow sticks....put them ina freezer.
