You know, one of those courses where you would rather pay the university twice as much money to not have to take it. For me, this class is "Sensation and Perception" ... a Psychology course which teaches you everything you never wanted or needed to know.

Ummmm...morals and ethics...I went to the Coast Guard academy and while it could have been a really cool class...some dork in the back just kept yelling out, "Clean the gene pool!!!" all semester and ruined it for everyone...What ever that might have meant...weirdo...

Touchy feely classes don't often go over too well at military academies...

I do not think any course in college is a waste of time. I say this after having MANY courses that I do not particularly like but every one offered an opportunity for personal growth. Classes are partly what the professor, professes and partly what you put into them.

Art History I (prehistory-Renaissance). This class should have been really interesting and informative but instead, my professor decided to devote 1/3 of the class to prehistoric art so that we barely even got to Greek art let alone up to the Renaissance. Sure cave paintings are kinda cool, but how are we supposed to analyze the meaning of something painted by people we know so little about?

The most worthless class that I took was the introductory management class when I got my MBA. It is sometimes acalled "Organizational Behavior." It is the only class that I have ever taken where I learned absolutely nothing new -- and I have taken over 100 college classes.

Multicultural Education. I grew up in Cali. Pretty multicultural. I didn't need to pay someone to tell me about cultural differences.
