Hey guys,

My friend just told me about this site and it's basically 3:52 AM and I am looking for some help with some questions for my English class. I have been looking everywhere for the information/answers but I haven't been able to find a lick of information.

How can you check to be sure whether to use an adjective or an adverb?

An adjective describes any noun. An adverb describes a verb (He ran QUICKLY), and adjective, or another adverb.

To accept money from strangers walking along the street can be a dangerous habit to break. a. How is the first infinitive used? Subject - the main verb is can be. "To accept... can be..." b. how is the second infinitive used? Adverb, I believe - modifying "dangerous." c. what is "walking"? Present participial modifying "strangers." It is not acting as a noun here. d. what is the main verb? can be e. that would make "habit" grammatically a? NOUN f. take the "walking" phrase and turn it into an adjective clause. write out the complete sentence below. Not entirely sure on this.

when the subject is noun usually we use adjective and when it is a verb we use adverb.
ex She is beautiful.adjective was use to describe the subject.
ex.2. She walks beautifully. adverb was use to describe how she walks which is a verb.
