My statement:
Now that most "point the finger on GW and the rest of the Admin., I like to post the following statement, I found from my research as to "who" really "pushed" along....so that we may enjoy the "internal" and "international" unrest against the USA.

If The Bush Administration Lied About WMD, So Did These People
by John Hawkins:

"[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs." -- From a letter signed by Joe Lieberman, Dianne Feinstein, Barbara A. Milulski, Tom Daschle, & John Kerry among others on October 9, 1998

Note: If you need to see more statements as the one above; ask, and I will post many more

To the Answerers so far: Iam trying to see just how many really realize what did lead to this. This is not my Political view. Here's another one from 2003....

"(W)e need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime. We all know the litany of his offenses. He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation. ...And now he is miscalculating America’s response to his continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction. That is why the world, through the United Nations Security Council, has spoken with one voice, demanding that Iraq disclose its weapons programs and disarm. So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real, but it is not new. It has been with us since the end of the Persian Gulf War." -- John Kerry, Jan 23, 2003

Is it no wonder then; that the majority of us are "numb" for long while now and are floating in the la la land of "confusion"

Who's kidding who? Bush knew all along he was going into Iraq. Why else did he spend so much time and effort to convince America Saddam was a threat to us and the world. This whole thing is a sham.

That was 5 years prior to GW's decision to invade Iraq based on cooked intelligence. Their is no doubt that GW and his cronies disregarded any information that denied that their were WMD's in Iraq while pushing their agenda that led to war. It was George Bush and his architects of failure that then formulated the disastrous Iraqi rebuilding plan.
So, no matter little excerpts you publish regarding whomever, the weight of the Iraqi disaster lies on GW , Cheney, Rumsfield and Rice.

But it was based on Bush's knowing lies- there were no WMD, therefore he was given no authority!

You're right, the Democrats were afraid of looking unpatriotic, but Bush was planning on going into Iraq, even before 9/11.
If he didn't want that it never would have happened, but it did, and on his watch.
He's the commander in chief, and he's destroyed our image and drained our treasury.
Don't try to pass it off because you conservatives are embarrassed by his obvious failure.

Bush/Cheney took the US to war with Iraq.

Presidents before Dubya took responsibility for their actions. Bush and his strident followers scream that it is the Democrats fault when Bush screws up.

Wow that means Clinton had 2 years to go in and didn't do it. Must be because he knew it was propaganda or had the people in the right position to guide him in the situation. A lesson President Bush sorely needs to learn.

What you are saying is the democrats would have done the same thing as Bush, given the evidence supplied by the intelligence agencies. i.e Invade Iraq, yes? I would have to agree, they would have. They would have been wrong also.
