Legally, probably the radio...YOu can also go to different station websites and sometimes get their playlist from the night before and listen to it as an audio file...in San Diego, the radiostation FM94.9 has a chill out show each night that lots of people listen to the next day...I just download it at work and figure out what I want to buy from what I hear...

Hope that helps...some people use free download programs, but I was a musician for a long time and feel bad doing that...if I copy CDs, I try to go to a show when they come to town. Otherwise I buy most of my music...unfortunately, there is way more out there than I can afford...
