Some of them are full of it, and some of them are a bit more worthwhile.

I'm not big into trying to see the future... I'd rather create it, thanks... but I've had several readings because I happen to have met several people who do them for a living throughout the years. I've also paid the occasional stranger for a reading, merely for the sake of curiosity. Of the readings I've had, the handwriting analyst (friend of friend) and one of the astrologers (complete stranger) were reasonably accurate and rather inspiring. And I had a very accurate tarot reading, but the reader happens to be a long time friend, so she had more info to work with. The others all pretty much had no clue.

I think it has more to do with their own levels of intuition and their ability to give inspiring advice than any real fortune-telling. And keep in mind if they're inept at interpreting the symbols, they will definitely be off base. Tarot and palm reading and astrology all deal with archetypes and generalizations so they are not means of achieving pinpoint accuracy... but if you look at the human mind psychologically, you will also see archetypes and generalizations at play.

NOBODY can see the future because we are still currently building it. If anybody could really see the future, they wouldn’t be charging 50 bucks for tarot readings out of a tent at a carnival. That said, many people have a sense of intuition that helps them inspire people, and most of the use that I've gotten from the readings I've had was in the way of being inspired to put good advice to good use. But I've also gotten good advice from siblings/relatives/friends/etc.

I am a tarot reader, and the one thing I always tell the person I am reading for is that "You have the key to your own destiny/future". A psychic, tarot reader, palm reader or what have you, they can help you get on the right path to where you want to be but it's up to you to take it.

Nobody can see the future.....but they can help you get there!

The good things that haven't happened...... you may not be looking hard enough. It's like a broken heart.......we stand there looking at the closed door for so long we fail to see the new one open. Open your eyes....what you may see as a bad thing could very well be a blessing in disguise.

Tarot isn't continuously pretend, they are typically extreamly precise. yet a tarot reading does no longer continuously come authentic because human beings have loose will to regulate the destiny that has been informed by using way of the playing cards. solutions above say playing cards are evil, they are not. human beings are evil, playing cards are only paper and ink. at the same time as some one asks a question like; "What do i want to do to stumble on a more desirable ideal job" and the playing cards say that this human being is being unmotivated and they want to be more desirable in touch yet in staying the position they are, with that lazy innovations-set, then they gained't locate yet another job..... So then if the fellow remains 'lazy' then they gained't get yet another job, subsequently the reading is authentic. yet when the fellow fairly listens to the readings message and is conscious, then they are going to replace their innovations-set and grow to be more desirable energetic and inspired, subsequently arising the own potential that could be functional them to get a more desirable ideal job. So, then the readings 'destiny effect' is pretend, although the message in the reading became authentic and best ideal, for they requested what they mandatory to do to stumble on a job and that became- get inspired! there is truth to the playing cards no remember if the destiny effect seems to be 'authentic' or no longer. those who say that Tarot is pretend has under no circumstances studied tarot huge.

Learn to read tarot cards yourself. They are a wonderful tool for solving problems when you can't get outside yourself to see other possibilites. It'll force you to use both your imagination and inuition. Sometimes your own logic can only take you so far.

Many if not most psychics use social engineering to make you see value in the service they provide. I prefer to talking with people who demonstrate a vast knowledge of astrology on an academic level. However, human intuition should not be underestimated. This realm of thinking has great value when we are responsible for creating our own destiny.

Mine, Journey Johari, tells me that it's not about seeing your future, per se, it's about guidence and helping you to understand alternate perspectives you my be blind to.

She has nailed many things for me that could not have been guessed or found with parlor tricks. But she takes no credit so I think some are legit and most are not. She considers herself an advisor and she's awesome at that but she won't call herself a psychic because she doens't want to be associated with the garden variety miss cleo types.

Also, she does nail the stock market nearly everytime. I wish I had the money to test her. I think I'd be rich.

well, what kind of things did she/he say?? If it has to do with something that is futuristic...then just keep waiting. if you were suppose to get something that was going to be sooner than later and it hasn't happened...well, you're either lucky or you just got ripped off....i mean honestly, how much do you really believe in it anyway....i think it's more of a fun trick than anything....unless you come from the southern states.

it's a service industry. you need reassurance, they provide it and back it up with history and mysticism and some very good social skills. i think you just got yourself a bad reader. try another, you might find one who is good at reading your current circumstances and will give a prediction closer to what you need to hear as a paying customer.

I believe most of them are cons. Do you remember Mrs. Cleo? She had the fake accent and used to have many commercials. She got busted for being a fraud.

It might not be crap, it may not come true just yet. Maybe it will happen, maybe it won't. You never know. Or maybe it might just be a load of crap.
