Natives of the Philipines, would natural come from the Philipines. Thats the definition of native.
All sarcasm aside, the philipines is an artificial country, created by the Spanish. It cobbled a region from islands they conquered. The people who lived their are a mixture of ethnic group. The original group, the Negrito was wiped out basically, they only hold a small presence and was replaced by a malay group. Arab traders also stopped by and mixed in with some of their blood
The Malay group original came from what is Southern China, but due to expanding presure from the larger Chinese population, the Malay headed south and jumped from Island to Island. The populated Areas from southern Asia to Japan

They are considered one in the same. Some believe in the great journey from Asia to the Americas a long time ago. When the continent of Europe was frozen over to North America, that's when they crossed over ; as time passed they evolved to different tribes and groups. Then as this hap pend they all spread out from North America to South America. If you ask me, I think it's true, look at Native Americans and Asians some look the same. It doesn't matter where you go in South America you will find some Latinos that look Asian (Philippine). Some Philippians I know say there not Asian they are Latino, so there it is. They way I see it it's not about where you stay it's your motherland, I'm from Ghana, Accra. Some say I don't look Ghanian, but what does a Ghanian look like ? The same thing goes for being Philippino or Native, they are the same people, what's all the fuss about anyways ? Also one of my ex-girlfriends was Latino also, I mistaken her for Asian one time in public so I walked passed her not knowing it was her. Damn, to top it off some mistaken her for Philipino or Chinese. The thing is she is from El Salvador, the history speaks for itself they are the same people. To all the Latinos and Philippinos wassup I'm soooo fly, I know you see it like Young Joc ! Holla at my a ** !

The original inhabitants of the islands were different from what you see today. Of the eleven tribes that constitute the greater part of the Philippine Islands only one has remained closest to the original. That tribe is the Negritos, and they are extremely dark-skinned.

The other ten tribes (The Huks and the Moros among them) are much lighter skinned and dominate the island chain.

The Spaniards landed and settled in the Philippine and of course there was a lot of inter-breeding which has resulted in the current look of the Filipinos today.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filipino_people
Pls. read this it will explain everything.

NOTE correct spelling:
PHILIPPINES-country
Citizens of the Philippines are called FILIPINOS/PINOYS referring to a male gender. FILIPINAS/PINAYS to a female gender.

FACTS:
Filipino culture is primarily based on the cultures of the various native groups, and has influence from Spanish and Mexican, as well Chinese and Indian cultures. The customs and traditions of the Roman Catholic faith are Spain's lasting legacy.

Unlike its Muslim majority neighbors, Malaysia and Indonesia, the Philippines is an overwhelmingly Christian country. As a result of Spanish colonization and evangelization spanning just over three centuries, most contemporary Filipinos, regardless of native ethnic group, are Christians; over 83% are Roman Catholic with various smaller Christian denominations. However, a significant minority of Filipinos (the majority in Mindanao and most of the Sulu Archipelago) are to this day still adherents of Islam. Filipino Muslims constitute 5% of the population.

Native, is a french word, meaning BORN OF/FROM. Naitre (to be born)

So technically all Philipinos (sp?) are born in the Phillipines.

They probably have genetic roots toward India, but we won't know for sure for a couple more years.
