You really don't. 'Cause those that know you...... "see you" even when the mask is on.
The anonymity gives you the courage to bring out the emotions and feelings you've always sincerely had. It doesn't mean that you've not possessed the feelings before. You just didn't know how to let them manifest themselves.
Regardless. It is you. Those that care enough.... will stop and notice no matter what. And as for the mask? It will only fool those that never noticed to begin with. :)

Well, the internet provides anonymity in itself.
But sometimes you create a certain identity and people begin to associate that with you. Regardless of whether or not that chosen identity is truly you, you have a role to play. A mask of sorts. So you have to claim another identity. And then you just be as sincere as you can possibly be. No more masks. Except one of anonymity. Then there are no more expectations. That's the real beauty of it.
Back to the question, lol...

I need the anonymity of the internet to be sincere.
But i'm just as sincere in real life with those i am close to.

No, not at all, being sincere isn't a difficult thing to be. Sometimes anonymity can help but it isn't necessary as long as you are being honest your sincerity will be appreciated
