do you think movies part2 are good as part 1 ex: the movie ring 1 better than part 2 * meet the parent part 1 * saw part 1 etc...

well, i think it is fun when movies have a part2. my examples: the movie clerks one and then clerks two . . . texas chainsaw massacre one and then texas chainsaw massacre two (which was really zero 'cause it was the beginning) . . . and grudge two which was cool

Most of the time the original is the best. However there are the rare cases when the 2nd or 3rd even is better. An example in my opinion, but a lot of people may disagree. Aliens was better than Alien. I think Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade was the best of the trilogy. Then you get the times when they make a sequal and it has nothing to do with the original. A great example is Halloween 3. What the heck is up with that. If you watch the Nightmare on Elm Street movies they all carry on from the movie before except part 2. Sorry to ramble on.

In general I would say the original is better the the sequel in most cases. However, there are are ocassional cases where the sequeal is just as good if not better(ie Toy Story 2). Plus if a movie turns out to be a trilogy or saga then this theory doesn't work because the last might be better(ie Star Wars ep. VI in my opinion is the best followed by ep III). But I guess this really is an opinion kind of question depending on each indivuals tastes.

It depends.....
Terminator 2 was far better than Terminator 1 and Terminator 3....
It depends basically on the directors and the producers....
Some keeps up the good work , but some fails to do so...
Eg...the sequels of .Pirates of Carribean, Bad Boys have one well
