We - Indians - believe that Kashmir is an integral part of India. Pakistani establishment think that Kashmir is an unfinished agenda from the Partition onwards. Most of the Kashmiris will support independence. But for strategic and political reasons both India and Pakistan cannot support it. ( They have one voice on this point ) So the best option is to keep the 'status quo' and hope the future generations of these countries will be bold enough to accept the reality.

Hard to say, since all the guns are pointing at Kashmir. If a gun was pointing add your head, wouldn't you say you support their country and mentally support the other. I say we do it the old fashion way and give the Kashmiri back their own nation, and kick the other two nations out. They are Kashmiri, not Indians.

Simple...

Pakistan

I can’t understand, why Muslims want to make all world Muslim? The Kashmir problem rise due to this mentality, they kill almost Hindus (Kashmiri Pundits) there, and most of the refuges live in different part of India in very trouble. They are refugee in their own country.

Why Muslims want to make Kashmir as separate country? What will they do?

Kashmir was often described as "paradise lost".

It was true. Recently, President Musharaf said that Pakistan won't have any claims over Kashmir. So yes, I think that now that Congress is in power, I think that peace will prevail in the region.

Partition of India into two countries itself was bad. Kashmir has been part of India since ages. Whereever the muslims go they want to create their own country. The way muslims are going in UK ..... wait for sometime they'll ask for a portion of a land there also.
