spend too recklessly - believe we live in a capitalist society.

drive too fast - I don't even drive a car.

because we've turned into a "ME ME ME" kind of country.
all the advancements in technology have made our lives too easy and we've become spoiled little brats.
we take for granted what our past generations could have only dreamed of having. tv's, cellphones, computers, video games, air conditoning and heating, and household appliances are things our grandparents never had.
