Yep, my Dad taught me that, but I also use a hair brush or a comb or a long knife(the dull side) or whatever else is long enough to get the spot that needs scratching.

yes, and many other places and tools around the house....why does the middle of our backs always itch??
what i always wanted to do was to take a manequin hand and screw it in the wall at just that height!

No, but I do scratch my b'ollocks with my kid's plastic knife and fork... he's too young to know if I've washed it or not afterwards.
