I've just returned from a nice weekend spent with my boyfriend. We live in two different cities but he is looking for a job near my city. We've had a few conflicts due to my insecurities and my emotional dependance on him. I do admit, I find it sometimes very hard if he doesn't pay attention to me when he concentrates on his job applications or when we go to a party and he talks to someone else for a while, I then feel like he does not care about me. I told him that and he felt upset that I would blame him for wanting to talk to some of his school friends, whom he has not seen for months or even years. He said he does care and he was always checking that I am enjoying myself but he said I should not expect that he will stick to me all night long. I asked him if he would celebrate the New Year's Eve with me as I will not be able to see him during the Xmas time. he said that he'd like to spend it with his friends as he does not want to be blamed. What should I do? I want to be with him?
