Yes i think it is a very bad thing.U can like someone but it does mean that u would prefer him than everyone else.If u r acting as a judge u have a lot of responsibility. People ahould be judged only by what they r supposed to be judged in a compition, strictly not by anything else. If u r being partial to someone u could be braking someones heart, may be dream. I would ask those people who r partial to put themselves in the place of someone whos dreams were shattered just bcoz of partiality.

If there is a scheme to create partiality to help a child that lags behind, it is a good tool.

according to me yes.
especially for the person towards the other person is partial.
(this is frm experience)
in school a teacher was very partial towards 1 kid n all the other kids were very jealous of tht kid n did not include him in any shcool activites.
