Do you like onions which ones and why?

I like spring onions chopped up and on top of sour cream for dipping! I really like red onions better than white, sweet onions. I don't know why. I like them in toasted subs and on salads with bleu cheese dressing. Red onions are known as cheaper and supposed to be less tasty, but I think I like the extra zest.

I like onions raw better than fried, unless they are lightly sauteed. The loads of oil on them, especially cheaper oil, tend to upset my stomach.

If there's one thing I hate about onions though--it's that they don't go away for days. The sulfur in them causes bad chemistry in the digestive track and will give you bad breath and exit through the pores, causing yucky BO.

I like onions when they are cooked into something. I prefer to use yellow onions. The flatter they look, they sweeter they are.

YES~~sweet vidalia onions are the best 'cause they have that sweet, yet oniony crunchy taste. MMMMMMMMMM
