What you have stated is exactly the true situation. If the team loses that means the opposition has outplayed your team in every aspect of the game. When the team loses, some changes are made in the team and also they need backup to comeover their defeat. But on India's part the selection, planning and the focus required for the game is not maintained which leads to continues loses. This disturbs the players confidence and their bad patch starts. So they are criticised. On the other hand if they win their confidence is boosted and they try to play much better and that's exactly what the people want.

Because going by todays odds of India winning a match most of the betters are losing heavily with even small bets.

While every win is a win and a morale booster, there was not much to celebrate about the victory as most of the batsmen except Irfan Pathan and Ganguly in the first innings totally failed and it was only by their efforts and the efforts of the Bowlers, India could win.

It is not a simple question. You are right in saying that when India wins we celebrate with full motion & enthuasium and when they loose we criticise them.It is not always true. This time all of them failed in all department.They did not fight.They have left everything on GOD. That is why they deserve this blatant behavior of the fan.

This happens in every game and is every country....India is no different. Only thing is here the number of people moaning and groaning is huge because of the population that hasn't been kept under control for the past 100 years or maybe more.!

I don't think this is at all specific to India. The same thing happens everywhere else, as far as I know - though often the coach gets the blame, too.
But really, I think it's just that everyone wants their team to win, so when the team loses they get disappointed and want to find someone to blame.

they did not lose 1 or 2 matches.they lost 5 series continusly very badly and only 6 matches let till world cup,is this the way to play..........?
until the top order shine india will not win a singe match
may be they can improve in this test matches.

bcoz people in india are very emotional and aren't circumspective...i'm talking about an average indian...they jus see things apparently and have no insight into the matter under question...u can see it for yourself how everyone's criticizing sachin nowadays...even a layman has his say over the issue...One thing we shud keep in our mind that we aren't that qualified to criticize players coz its easy leaning in yer sofa eating popcorn and saying to friends sitting behind u -"we shud follow a different strategy shouldn't we?" with a pout on yer mouth imagining yerself as gavaskar and geoffrey boycott...jus think practical fellas

nice question yaar.actually we don't have satisfaction.first thing is we should not lift the players when we win the match or a cup.next thing is we should not criticise the players when they lose the match.and also these company people r spoiling our players.
