For a guy that gets criticized on his wrestling skills so much he has always managed to have exciting matches on ppv this year
New yr revolution- Elimination chamber
Royal Rumble- vs Edge
Wrestlemania- vs HHH
Backlash- vs HHH vs Edge
ONS- vs RVD
Vengance- vs Sabu- lumberjack match
Summerslam- vs Edge
Unforgiven- vs Edge- TLC match-arguably best match of the year
Cyber Sunday- vs Show vs Booker
SS- vs Team Big Show
Which one of these matches could u seriously say were bad. His matches have also been getting excellent reviews from long term wrestling fans on the net and independant wrestling mags.
When you think about Cena is actually a decent wrestler. I have come to the conclusion that the only reason some people say he is terrible wrestler is just because they don't like him as the WWE champ! More proof of this is when he was on smackdown he could not wrestle at all, but cos he was only U.S champ no one ever complained about his wrestling skills.

I don't like Cena so much,but I gotta admit his TLC match with Edge was awesome.I saw his match on tonight's RAW against Johny Nitro and all I can say that he is improving.

John Cena is a Rock wannabe. The WWE has run out of ideas so they try and use what already has been successful like bringing back DX and ECW it is getting really old fast.
Back to Cena, he has the same 5 moveset to win every match it's horrendous, and he has one of the worst finisher in WWE history. The only people he appeals to are little 12 year olds.
So to answer your question, NO! He is by far the most OVERRATED professional wrestler right now, and worst of all he is going to be the one to end Umaga's undefeated streak.

In my opinion John Cena relies very heavily on his opponent to carry him through the match and make him look good. He has no offensive moves except punches, kicks, a Fisherman's Suplex, The Five Knuckle Shuffle, and The FU.
That's it!
If you watch his matches they all go down the same way. He starts the match aggressive, then gets beat down and heavily dominated for most of the match. He'll spark a comeback after getting stomped on, hit his 3 moves and the match is over.
I, for one, do not like John Cena because I felt like he was shoved down our throats for so long and was undeserving of the title. He's only been there a few years and was beating out much more deserving guys like Jericho, Benoit, Edge or Christian, and other less used guys who have accomplished so much more than him.

He has no wrestling technique at all, he only posseses like 5 different moves. Thats it !
The only thing he has is great carissma, but as a wrestler he is really lame, but as a performer its another story.
I know that everything is scripted, but a good wrestler knows how to fill the missing spaces which Cena does not.

Cena only has 1 move when you think about it. Besides i think the real reason why he's disliked - and this includes the US where according to my friend in Denver , he's equally hated - is he's biding his time before his big Hollywood break just like the Rock a while back.As soon as tinseltown call he's outta there!

if you have ever been to a wrestling match and sat in the front row you would know that it is just a floor show ,the only thing wrestlers are good at is timing and they even get that wrong sometimes,the sport is easy to see it is staged,sorry to burst your bubble.

his strikes are so constrained, its very almost obtainable to foretell each 2d of the experience. he's powerful, yet not distinctive in what he does. a real wrestler could be unpredictable, not a 5-pass stunter.

He is a strong, physical, warrior that never gives up. He is really brave, especially to go out there after someone humiliates him,HE'S GOT A LOT OF GUTS!! None of the matches sucked they were all great, especially for entertainment!

he is a joke, he is that bad i even turn the channel when he come's on to wrestle, the guy nick l got it spot on his match's are the same every single one of them he is BORING, sorry i lied i will watch the match when he fights umaga cause umaga will trample him

It's not real you know. They have scripts which out-do Eastenders and Coronation Street any day.
