Kimi's contract was confirmed on September 10th, 2006, the day of the race at Monza, right after the announcement of Schumacher's retirement. And his McLaren contract expires, like Alonso's Renault contract, on DECEMBER 31ST 2006. They will both join their new teams on January 1st, 2007.

As per the contract Kimi will the official driver and Brand ambassador of the team sponsers till the end of the year 2006, which is not over yet. So he will be released by McLaren only after Dec 31, 2006 to join the team he wish. Then you will notice the promotional ads will be stopped.

They still air it because Kimi's contract with McLaren expires December 31st, 2006. He can't wear, drive or promote Ferrari (or anything different than Mercedes/JW or McLaren's sponsors) until January 1st 2007. Hope this helps.
