I am 36 weeks along today. My next doctor's appointment is tomorrow, which I should find out if I have dialated or not. I know walking is supposed to bring on labor...My question is...what is a good length of time to walk every day (that wouldn't be considered over doing it)...I am going to wait until after my appointment. I am not actually trying to start labor...Just basically, get things ready to go...and also get out of the house since this is my last week until I am full term.

That is a tough question because it truelly depends on how active you already are. However, a mile to a mile & a half should be fine for any activity level, just make sure you can always talk normally, if you can not slow down or take a break

You still have a few weeks left. Relax.... I know you are excited, but I would just hang out at home and relax with your husband because this is the end of your time alone together. Take it all in. From now on you'll have a baby depending on you.

Have fun this last week. Don't try to bring labor on. When the baby arrives you will be grateful for any free time. Just chill and enjoy!

Assuming you are in reasonable health, I recommend 20 min walks each day at leisure pace. Avoid walking on noisy and/or busy streets. Best to have someone walk with you in case you need assistance.

Don't stress about it... Your body will do all the work for you, it will tell you when the baby is ready to come out. If you feel like walking, do it but don't overextend yourself youre gonna need the energy later. trust me...

15-20 minutes, at a mild pace.
