Well although in Pakistan a person cannot survive on Rs.2000 a month, I will use a hypothetical example using percentages to answer your question:
1- Tax is progressive here so you may say that Rs.29.00 will go in tax per month
2- Rent would claim around Rs.742.00
3- Utilities would claim about Rs. 342.00
4- Fuel would cost about Rs.228.00
5- Grocieries and all would take up about Rs.171.00
6- Plus if you have a leased vehicle, it would take up a good Rs.400

Bottomline: It is very hard to save when you belong to the salaried class.
Cheers.
