First of all, exams are NOT life and death. Put that somewhere in your brain and lock it. If you think that way, you will get too nervous and fail even if you DO manage to study.

You're probably scared by the amount of material you need to study. Happens. What you need to do is coolly make a mental list of all you need to go over, and decide how much time you can allocate to each subject.

After that, forget that there's so much, and just start somewhere. It does get easier once you actually start.

For the future, review periodically and don't cram. Your motivation for the reviews is that you never want to find yourself having to cram again...

Good luck, not that you need it :)

First you have to take a deep breath, because if you don't relax. Then you won't be able to study. I have done this before, so listen up. Keep yourself calm no matter what. Read the books that you need to study or if you have made notes already read them. You have a short a mount of time, but don't let that get to you. Just sit and start reading, and when you come to a part you think will be ask then you learn only that part. Right now you don't have the time to learn everything, so go what you think or know that is important. Good luck and success with your exams tomorrow.

I have been doing a take home exam the whole day from my psych class and I only did 5 question so far. It takes a while because you have to explain alot. I have been eating, studying, washing clothes, studying, baking, studying, talking on the phone, studying. Tell yourself you are allotted 10 min. breaks after every 20 minutes of studying, it works for me. If I didn't do that, I wouldn't have any questions done. Hop on the treadmill for 10 minutes, take a 10 minute shower, make a snack, I'm gonna return to my exam right now!!
Good luck!!!!

i have a final on wednesday that i told myself that i would start studying today. i study the night before and stay up ridiculously late because i work well under pressure. my motivation to study is the fact that i would like to graduate college and pass all of my classes. studying for finals and oing okay on them is very important to do that! you are going to school for a reason..so turn off the computer and get rid of any other distractions and start studying!

I have a Bio exam tomorrow as well. Um, what motivates me is thinking about how much my education is costing me and how wasting my time on here is wasting money. Darn, now I have to go study......

i have the same problem. like now for example, i have finals next week. i just have to tell myself that at least a little studing is better then none at all (since once you start its easier to keep going) and that theres no other time to study (i like to do last min studing which seems to be your choice too) so its now or never. and once your done with the test you can just relax
