I choose to plan the hubbies family Christmas this year. So I got the tree, the space, the lights, the deco. I helped arrange the menu, and even got a volunteer for Santa's job. I hope to make it there before everyone else from communion, so I can light the fancy candles and make sure the food is ready. The past few years the family has been crammed in a tiny house and you can't talk to everyone so this year I rented a huge space to give everyone more room.

Get some sleep ... wake later than usual (the crack of dawn)

Stay in my PJs most of the day ... enjoy the PEACE and QUIET of having MY HOME just to my SELF (after all my hard work, and being a Long-Term Single Parent -- I am FINALLY Able to enjoy it ALONE!)

Set up my BRAND NEW TV (my Christmas Present to ME!) ... watch some Christmas DVDs (yes, even the Muppets Christmas Carol!) ...

Fix myself a simple meal ... a special milk shake ... then relax with my CDs ... and Hot Herbal Tea.

Then finally settle down for that long winter nap ... with electric blanket and comfortably content.

Take a picnic down to the creek, spread a blanket, enjoy a good salad, a bottle of wine and half an apple.

Spread some wine at the base of a tree, toss half the apple near the tree. To give thanks for what the Goddess has provided.

Lie down on the blanket and wait for the stars to arise. Light a candle and give thanks to the Goddess for sharing in this moment with me.

Give a blessing to the earth and its inhabitants.

Probably cry because the days are getting shorter. I enjoy the long summer days.

Blessed Be

Well you want details....err let's see....I'm in Saudi Arabia...I work on Military Fighters as a subcontractor for the Saudi Air Force....I'll be on the back shift on Christmas Day so I'll be working to keep the Saudi Air Force flying. I'll be working most of the night starting at 3.00 pm till usually past midnight when my shift ends....it'll be freezing cold as it is during this part of the year.....

I'll be getting sh** loads of money for my family to enjoy but no overtime unfortunately...I'll be working right over the new year period as well but my vacation starts on January 12th which I'm looking forward to as I'm going home to Thailand to be with my family for 3 weeks....

Why....what are you doing?....will your family benefit directly from what you are doing.....?? Or are you just buying them presents....

LOL.........

This year, I'm going to ride my bicycle around the city. You know, at Christmas, my city is crowded with vehicles. So you can't drive car or ride motorbike. Bicycle is the most convenient means. Firstly, I'm going to my friend (at the prsent, she is only my friend, but I'm going to show my love with her this X'mas) to collect her. Then we're going to the church. In my city, people often go to there in order to take photographer. After that, we're going to eat ice-cream. It sounds crazy, but it's very interesting to eat ice-cream on these days when it's so cold. If you have much time, we're going to go swimming at the pool where we casually met each other 1 year ago. That's last Christmas.
