i'm not offended by any religious symbols from any culture.
Why?
Because I believe that people can believe in whatever they want to. Everyone's belief is there own, thus should respect others beliefs whatever they may be.

I'm not offended by the cross. It is an ancient symbol that far predates Christianity. However I'm offended, as with any symbol when it is used in an aggressive or offensive way. Just like the swastika. Prior to the Nazi's it was a totally different and ancient symbol that had been used for centuries. Now because of one groups gross mis-use of that symbol it will always have connotations never originally intended. Some might have a similar argument for the cross and Christians.....

those who are being offended by th Cross, are the same as those who are offended by Middle finger!
a cross is a symbol, and the other is as well.
if I choose to, I can as well be offended by the question!

I'm not.
Although its come to be associated with Christianity, its an ancient symbol found in cultures dating back thousands of years before Christ was born.
Heck - I'm not offended by swastikas either - same reason.
Its how those symbols are used that might offend me...
