Most couple split up b/c of lack of communication, lack of affection, and nagging. People divorce to escape a painful, lovless, and/or destructive relationship. They also divorce b/c they think they will find a better life alone or with someone else. However, even with these problems most marriages are worth saving. Going through a divorce is as painful if not more as the marriage can be viewed...so get some professional counseling and heal those past hurts and wounds.

SELFISHNESS. Think about it. Every reason why couples split-- cheating, abuse, miscommunication, dishonesty, the list could go on and on but if you narrow any one of these down you can narrow it down to selfishness by one, or often both parties.
