Are they afraid of them or are they quietly in support of their attacks on Christians and Jews and Hindus? Do they think the time has come for them to rule the world? Now that they have so much oil money to help them carry out their dirty scheme. They better hurry because their oil will be used up in 20-30 years.

Wouldn't that be the same way many Jews don't speak out against the terrorist tactics of the Israeli government? If we consider terrorism to be the targeting of civillians, then the Israeli government is definately one of the biggest terrorists out there.
Anyway, you should also know that most of the terrorist incidents that we see are targeted against other Muslims, whether in Iraq, Afghanistan, or even Thailand. It is, in a way, a civil war "within" Islam that has spilt over to the rest of the world.
Concerning Hindus, yes, there have been many incidents of Muslims targeting Hindus, but there have been even more incidents of Muslims being killed by angry Hindus.
What religion doesn't think it should rule the world, or at least think that it is better than all the rest and that its adherents are superior. Jews think they are the choosen people, Christians believe that salvation is through Jesus, Muslims believe that because they came after these two aforementioned faiths then they must be better and more "in tune" to what god wants.
Look at Christian history and tell me what you see. Was it all peace and love?
To answer your question, yes there have been many, many Muslim voices that speak out against violence, but they are drowned out by those who seek vengence for what they percieve as injustices committed against Muslims. They believe that god is on their side and that is that, how can you argue with god?
There are many liberal and tolerant voices in the Muslim world, but they are simply too afraid for their own lives. There have been many instances of writers and journalists assasinated for speaking out against extremism.
Oil is an important factor, because alot of the terror financing comes from Saudi Arabia and its fanatical Wahabi ideology. Don't look at Iran or Iraq, it is Saudi Arabia where the real terror originates. People eat, breathe and sleep religion there, all day long.
Terms like "dirty scheme" are not helpful here.

Before giving my answer, I would like to make clear I am a white US citizen.

Could it be the same reason so few Americans condemn an unjust war in the middle east? That is, they kind of agree with the goals, and while they would certainly not use those methods themselves, are willing to sit by quietly and accept the results of others using them?

This analogy is not exact - the wrong-ness of the war is a little more ambiguous than that of terrorism - but I think there is a parallel.

They do. I find it interesting that such condemnations are never publicized.

And here is a page with over a hundred links to Muslims condemning terrorist actions:

Obviously you are not aware that actual target of terrorism are Muslims. Every nation counts its own dead without caring for others. You must update your information before making sweeping remarks. You must support peace and love and not to be misled by vested interest propaganda.

people who commit terrorist acts collectively as claiming to be Muslims are very plenty anti-Islam. those honest, religious Muslims who love Islam are to blame for spreading actual, genuine Islam to non-Muslims.

It all has to do with religion, they may not support it but they cant condemn it. It helps their beliefs get heard, no matter the cost. Beliefs are what people will sacrifice anything for Muslims, Christians, Jews, Americans, Arabic, English, Chinese, Japanese, who ever! Everyone is willing to sacrifice for their beliefs.

Their religion trumps everything.
Including loyalty to country....any country.
Their silence is telling.
And trundling out the fuzzy friendly photo op Mullah does not reassure.
