I am not in the mood to go shopping and spend the extra money on a new thing! I want to be creative. The dress code is Jeans and dressy top! Any suggestions? Oh and my hair is long and straight! What should I do with it?

Wear a skinny jeans (if you have one) and boots... Wear the jeans tucked in the boots! As for the top, I suggest you wear halter top and structured jacket! Try to find something in pink mixed with white! or plain white!! If you have beady necklaces wear some! Some that matches the color of your halter top and/or the jeans, you know what I mean... and add in some gold in there! It would look like you are ready to par-tay!
As for your hair... Go to your hairstylist and ask her for a soft curls do for you!! Its looks good specially when you have long hair. People are used to your straight hair so have it curled softly for a change. Wear make up and make a statement when you enter the room! I suggest you focus on your eyes the most... smoke them and then wear a nude color (pinkish) lipstick/gloss!

French braid your hair Start at crown. Same as normal braid but each time add hair from a side left right left right

For you hair, I'd suggest go with the loose curls or scrunched hair look.
