I am writing a newspaper article. How do i cite the sources i interviewed?? (parenthetically)?

newspapers don't use parenthetical citationd. they usually find a way to lead in to the quote using the source's name, e.g. so-and-so, an expert on the subject, stated "blahblahblah"

Read a newspaper and see exactly how it's done.

If it is guy you write 'duschebag #1, #2,... so on.
If it is girl you write 'skank #1, #2, #3,....
