Life is simple. But we make it so complicated that it is very much complex.

Yes, life is simple when viewed in isolation........ but quite a mysterious compound when seen in the full perspective of co-existence and interactions with other lives and the vast universe where the only certainty is the ever present uncertainty. Even that mysterious compound is not as complex as we make it out to be or to become through our egoistic desire to control it. We want everything as our ego dictates and get repeated reminders of how small we are in reality when compared to this vast and diverse universe....... the reminders are repeated incessantly through innumerable disappointments and failures and yet our ego does not bend to learn the lessons. It cooks up excuses for self and blames on other people and things and situations so as not to feel small. It continuous to rule us through unending chain of wants, desires, prejudices and preferences and we end up complicating life to such an extent that no psychologist, no philosopher and no borrowed wisdom can manage to untangle the knots.

And thereafter too, life still remains simple enough, for all one has to do is to take just one action to reap all its fruits ....... rein in the over bloated ego!! The most self serving action one can take is to be less selfish/self centred.

But seriously, sometimes we do make life more complicated than it needs to be. In so doing we forget and leave by the wayside the more important things like spending time with loved ones before it is too late.

yes it is true!!!

We have all these answers within us... that if we stop and look at what it is.... and in simplest terms, we understand just by looking at the little things.....

I am given to understand dreams, for example.... to me, they are no more than reading a page of a person's life's story........ To others, they are complicated images of symbols which make no sense whatsoever...... But, I say, it is so easy that if one write it down and read it aloud, the answer spills right out of the mouth as to the meaning....... But, people don't see how easy that can be.....

So they buy these so-called "self-help" books that define the meaning of dreams..... and these books are general to all dream symbols.... but they mean nothing... and so the dreamer is even more confused than they were before they understood that a dream actually has meaning.......

agree ... life is simple .. find happiness in small and simple thing ... like all the free stuff ... rain, breeze, sunshine, sunsets, nature walks, cant get over such stuff ... we make it complicated by indulging in unnecessary consumerism .. hell i dont need a big car for myself .. i like my bike ... and i dont need 3G cellphones ... i can do with my black and white one too ... i think to make things simple we should first accept whats not in our hands and then try to mould ourself in what we can be ... it ll be a lot less simpler ..

Well.... Kind of.... but sometimes it's kind of our destiny.. like for example.. u get fired, it's not your fault right? so it's depends on other people too.. not only just you to be the subject.. so it's complicated, it's not always your fault....

I don't agree. Realistically, we have to live in a society, and that is complex perforce.
