This depends on where the woman is and where you plan to live. My husband is a non-US-citizen. We were married in his country and lived there for two years and then decided to come back to the US so I applied for his immigration. Now we live here and are happy and are about to have a second child. You should contact your fiance's embassy and also research the options available for you to bring her here to US. (Dept. of Homeland Security has a website that tells you about applying for visas and immigration for a new spouse. But you can only apply for immigration after you are legally married.) Best of luck to you and your future marriage.
