i was driving home from work and my 1994 dodge caravan just quit running and wont start befor this it would quit running when i would turn a corner but would start then this happend

engine went dead while in cornering? seriously, check and repair/clean the "THROTTLE BODY"

Leaving a car running unattended is illegal in Texas and is an invite for crime. All the thief needs is a rock, broken window drive off. I think the van lost an electronic ignition. While some times the car will restart after the engine cools down. Get the trouble codes looked at even if the engine service soon light is not on the technician can see live data "fuel trim" and if the vans fuel system is the fault he will know to start there.

This might seem simplistic, but are you sure you didn't run out of gas?

Assuming you've already checked that, it's hard to say why this happened. I once had a car quit on me because the camshaft broke! The best thing to do, unless you have more information, is to have the car towed to a mechanic you trust.

timing belt broke
