i think it's "(pah-jet)"...but im not so sure...

Do you mean as in the Puget Sound in the state of Washington?
If so, it's "PEW-jut," meaning to imply the accent is on the first syllable. This is coming from someone who has lived in the Northwest all his life, so I will admit I'm not consulting a dictionary.

Pu rhymes with "pew" and "few." Get rhymes with "jet' like a jet plane. Accent is on the first syllable so it sounds like "pewjet."
