Most sellers on eBay will accept a money order or cashier's check. A few take personal or business checks. Read their listing for details.

PayPal is a much more secure way to send your payment to the seller. PayPal has an eCheck service that will remove the payment from your checking account for you and give it to the seller. (Takes about 4 days to clear.)

I want to clarify your question. You only send ebay money when you sell items. They charge a small fee to list auction items on their site. They do not charge you to be a shopper or a member if you aren't selling anything.

If you want to buy a item from a seller, you should check the bottom of their auction and it will list the types of payments they accept.

If you have to pay ebay fees for selling I believe they want either a credit card, checking account to withdraw from, or major corporation.
