Yes. If I recall correctly, Sodom and Gomorrah were two cities close to one another that God decided to destroy. God says that he intends to destroy the town if he cannot find 10 "righteous" men there. In one of them, sodom - I believe, God sends a couple of Angel's to Lot's home. When the Angel's arrived, the men of the town knocked on Lot's door and begged to have sex with the Angel's. Lot - a "righteous" man in God's eyes - tells them men that they cannot have the Angel's but CAN rape his own daughters who he lies and says are virgins but are actually married women.
Since God could only find one "righteous" man, and not 10, he decided to destroy the city. Lot leads his family out of the city and tells them not to look back, his nameless wife does and she is turned into a pillar of salt.
I don't know why this was posted in the LGBT area but no actual sodomy took place in Sodom. In fact, the only "sexual" thing that happened was a father giving permission to a gang to have his daughter's raped.
Jewish intrepretations of this portion of the bible show that God decided to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, not because their inhabitants were homosexual, but because they were exceedingly greedy, cruel, and wicked.

Yes. Every man, both young and old were trying to get into the house to have sex with the angels of the Lord.

Oh, that story is so sad! I can't believe believe that Lot, who is supposed to be such a godly man, offers his two virgin daughters to a gang of rapists. And then, after they all run away (and Lot's wife is turned into a pillar of salt for merely looking back at her burning village), I can't believe that Lot gets drunk and sleeps with both of his virgin daughters to make them pregnant and "preserve his seed"!
It's funny how this story is said to condemn homosexuality. None of the guys were getting down on one knee and proposing to the angels, or giving them flowers, or asking them out on a date.
If the angels were women, would this story be condemning heterosexuality? :(

Yes. Atrocious property values, lousy parking, and no easy access to doggie walks. And the locals are real inhospitable to strangers. No self-respecting gay or lesbian person would live there.
