I crochet Care Bears. With washable yarn etc. Different colors, even military green camo and the brown camo. Also fireman care bears.

I contacted Care Bear people and told them about my care bears and that I use a pattern which I got out of a book. So I think I am safe on my crocheting etc.

If you have a job, start with your co-workers. Just bring some to work to show them and you may find yourself getting lots of orders. Word of mouth may spread and if you begin to see lots of interest, then definitely rent a table at a craft fair. Start with a local fair where the tables aren't too expensive and see how well you can do.

If you got a written ok from the care bear people then try ebay or find local arts and crafts fairs (some can be reasonably cheap for table space or share space with a friend who makes something too). I know a small mall by us has a sort of craft consignment shop, I go in there often to find things that might be a special find for someone I know.

you could try etsy.com
or door to door selling around the neighborhood (it'd work better if you got a little kid to do it for you, cuz people can't resist small children)
or push it on your friends and relatives (in a nice way)
or start by giving away a few as presents for birthdays or holidays, and then if people seem interested you can start selling slowly. and hope for word of mouth business
hope it helps a bit!

I have a suggestion: Don't.

It's copyright infringement, for one.
It's tacky, for two.
It's just plain sad, for three.

I would try ebay. You can sell pretty much anything there.
