Macintosh Sims 2 Cheats?

I'm playing Sims 2 on a Macintosh, and would like to use the "motherload" and "aging off" cheats. How do I do this? CTL+SHIFT+C didn't seem to work while the game was loading.

Dont do it while the game loads...do it in the game, then type in the cheat in the input window that shows up. After you are done hit enter and everything should be there.

if you mess up on the cheat, at least on mine, the box won't close after a cheat is entered. You can either click outside the box then hit CTL Shift C to close it or type "exit" and hit enter.

To open the cheat box you enter CTL Shift and C while inside a household, all loading done. Besides the loading I don't think there is any other restraints on when the box can be opened.
