How can I record video segments of a Massive Multiplayer RPG (for example), Like I've seen posted?

I realize this would require additional software and/or hardware than normal, just courious as to how they do it. Thanks

The Program I use is called Fraps. It slows down your computer while it is running, but it has really good resolution.

Get a screen recorder like CamStudio(free).
