I'm assuming you mean he's been properly diagnosed by a doctor and is getting some kind of treatment?

The best thing you can do is *not* make a big deal out of it. He's still the same guy, and still your friend. It's likely nothing will really change. If he asks you for help with something, then go ahead and do it, other than that, treating him like he's "special" is just going to really tick him off.

And don't listen to the people who trash talk the ADD medications. I would NOT have made it through high school without Ritalin. Obviously, some behavioral therapy in addition to the meds is the best course, so that you can later wean yourself off the medicine, but that's really between your friend and his doc.
