Even though everyone knows In n Out > White Castle, I still wish I could try some authentic White Castle food.

You can buy them in a grocery store...but they are PLAIN. WC mixes their ketchup and mustard till its yellow-orange, and uses teeny (prb freeze dried) onions smaller than McD's, & 1 at most, 2 pickles. Then u will have a close-to authentic WC reg burger w/ everything. Most pple think The Castle is nasty, but growing up in Detoit they are everyehere. My grandfather used to buy sacks of 20, & I've loved them ever since!

White Castle was started of the East Coast, probably in New York City. I have heard that people who have moved away from White Castle will fly it to where ever they are. I have seen it frozen for microwave too. Look around in frozen food aisles in your supermarkets. I don't have a clue as to how much a frozen White Castle burger tastes compared to a fresh made one, but, it's an opportunity.

I never saw a White Castle here on the East coast, neither a Carl's Jr or an In n Out .

Funny you think White Castle is only on the East Coast. My first taste of a White Castle burger was in Louisville, Kentucky. When we go visit with my brothers, sometimes we eat at a White Castle in Lebanon, Indiana. It just happens to be on the way. Their headquarters is in Columbus, Ohio. It was founded in Wichita, Kansas in 1921.

Well, I like on the East Coast, and have never had White Castle. Obviously, I've heard of it, but there are none at all anywhere near me, in New England. . .I think it probably goes by state. I know In and Out burger from when I lived in CA.

White Castle is also in the midwest. White Castle hasn't spread to the rest of the country, though, because they probably don't feel that they could have much success in that market.

WC was formed in Kansas, not the East coast as posted. It's not that great of food.
