Breastfeeding in public. For some reason, lots of people (in the USA) have a problem with a woman using her breasts for what they were made to do.
I breastfed my youngest and did so anywhere he needed to be fed and no one said anything to me but I know plenty of women who have been kicked out of places for it. Breastfeeding women should not be ashamed to feed their child when ever WHERE EVER they need to.

Depends what grade you are in...

Terrorism is a hot topic right now. Your paper would like something like this:
Freedom fighters or terrorists
Define freedom fighter
Define Terrorism
explore arguments that distinguish between terrorists and guerillas

Or you can write on current international relations. Whether one state has the right to preemptively remove one regime, thereby violating that states self-determination and sovereignty. Furthermore, does it matter if there are more than one states involved? What is the international difference between unilateral and multilateral actions?
Then you go into recent case studies such as Bosnia, Iraq, and Rwanda.

Controversy is my life! Try these on, though they may be too mainstream for your assignment: Prove God exists without using any 'holy texts', just logic and reason (I have what I like to call, The Homer Simpson Proof of God, if you'd like it, email me). Refute global warming by citing some of the coldest winters on historical record. Use satire to explain why it is the RIGHT of trees to exist in our environment, while it is NOT the right of an unborn child to exist (abortion). Explain why selfishness is not an evil, but rather a lost virtue in modern America.

If you are an American why don't you write about the reasons the United States elects the presidents that they do?
If you are not American, or even if you, are you might like to look at why celebrities are given such credit when they comment on something. While they might be wonderful actors or singers , that doesn't mean they know squat about anything else.
