I do not care at all about the points - but I do love to get Best Answer. I love the idea of making connections with people from all around the world and sharing ideas across cultures. I also have a thing for helping - I love to help...lol. That's why I am here. I guess I am addicted, but I find this whole thing so interesting.

Well, personally, I don't think it's about the points at all. I enjoy answering questions in general. It's a chance for me to use knowledge I have about things like technology and the like. Also, sometimes a question will intrigue me so much I'll research the answer just to be able to answer it. Learning things that way is a lot of fun to me. It is a bit addicting, but I don't see it as a wasteful activity.
