You're not getting enough sleep or you are being forced to be awake when your body needs you to sleep..us night people experience this every morning.

That happens to me, too. Weather I get a lot of sleep or a little, I still have trouble waking up. Sometimes I used to go back to sleep when I needed to get up. What helps is to not give it much thought. When you first wake up, don't even THINK about going back to sleep (this is how I cured myself of it). Just get up, turn the clock off and begin your day with no second thoughts. Hope this helped you :)

Yes, get to bed earlier. Drink warm milk or water before you go to bed, which will promote a nice sleep. That was in Ayurveda. You should learn more about that. Perhaps your meals are too heavy? Don't do that during the night. You might feel sluggish or bloated. Dump water on your face, etc.

its probably because you're still tired and you need to stretch out , yawn a little then wash your face to wake you up !
