Yes, that's most likely why you are so fatigued. The pills are tiny, but have a HUGE effect on your body. Many people underestimate what a change they make on your hormones. Give it a couple of months and you should feel better. I take ortho tri cyclen low as well and went through the same thing!

It is probably just your hormones getting back on track with the work of the birth control. You should be fine and will probably feel this way until your hormones get back on track completely. Dont worry though that will only make you stressed and more fatigue. If it get worse and you still dont feel right call your doctor and see what she says. You might need a different birth control pill or a lower or higher dose. Good luck

if you had a heavy period it could be that due to loss of blood, your iron is really low, that causes fatigue...
if you've only been on tricyclen for a week, the hormonal changes haven't had time to have any real effect on your body, it takes about o month for that to happen.
I have also just finished my first week back on tricyclen after stopping it for a couple of months, and i haven't had any side effects. but everyone's body is different, give it a till the end of the month.
your fatigue could be a caused by alot of things...but it's very unusual for a low dose oral contraceptive to be the cause of it.
