I'm asking because it seems like the Comics and Animation category is maybe 90% anime questions. Maybe if anime got its own category, both the anime fans and the fans of other types of cartoons and comics would have an easier time finding questions that they can answer. What do the rest of you think?

I agree absolutely. I mean, I want to answer stuffs about US and British comic books ONLY without having to plow through so many infantile questions (e.g. "If you were an anime character, who would you be?" and the like). I wish the folks behind Yahoo! Answers would create a separate category for anime- and manga-related questions.
Now, where are the petition papers to sign? :-)

I'll absolutely going to vote for it. Yeah, I agree that almost all the questions that fall under the category Comics and Animation are things concerning Animes and Manga. And it will be easier since it will be separated from the rest of the things that still fall under the Comics and Animation catergory.

I think that's a good idea, manga and Anime and Comics and Cartoons as two seperate headings. A lot of Anime fans on here, and that's cool, but others do have good questions about non Anime and comics.

basically, comics and animation is the anime/manga classification because of the fact that almost all the questions are approximately that or relatives guy. and that i like the Mashima mangas + Wolf's Rain and Pandora Hearts
