I regretted resigning from one job because later on I realised that the money I was earning was excellent and was important to me. And the job I went to was in a call centre which I hated. I think when you earn good money but the job may suck a little it is easier to cope with. FInd a job that pays crap money AND sucks also = not so good!
However, I left that job to work for my parents and now we have a family business. The previous job may have been harder to leave so I guess it worked out right in the end anyway.

I was the employee/employer liaison for a company a long time ago and when my hubby at the time found a job in a city 2 hours away I had no choice but to resign my job and move with him - or divorce him. I chose to go with him and have wished almost every day since that I had chosen the divorce, which we did get several years later.

Yes. One time I had a job that didn't pay very well but the people were very good to me. I quit to take a job that paid much much better. In the end....the people at the new place didn't really care about the employees on a personal level....the money wasn't worth it.

Actually, I have more regrets for staying at a job I didn't like for too long.

Heck no! One time I worked at this underpaid, underappreciated, antiquated job where the boss wanted me to do his personal, & I mean PERSONAL errands on my lunch hour. Well, that happened once. Next time he asked where I was going for lunch, I said " Home, and I won't be back" He said "You can't do that!" "Watch me " and I walked out! Ahhhh, it was the best feeling in the world! Obviously, that job wasn't for me. I have one now that I love!
