Let's rephrase the question.

Somebody wants to jump off a bridge. What would you say to this person? Don't jump off.

It depends on what the person is trying to do.

If he's trying to commit suicide (kill himself), say "Don't jump off."

umm, coul you repeat that with decent grammer, i cant figure out what your saying? If someone else want to jump off a bridge? I would say dont jump and give him some reasons why.

If someone wants to "jump" off a bridge, you can say "Don;t jump!" but he may not listen and jump anyway. Hopefully no one suspects you pushed him! Better have a witness or so.

The word you want to use here is jump.


you say, don't kill yourself, or don't jump. either will do.
