I think that would include all of the above; job (function, environment, people...etc) It's kind of nice to have a time frame for yourself so when you begin something new or try to stop something old....you know to give yourself at least that much time to acclimate. Good question!

About 4 weeks, but my last one it took me about 6 weeks to get used to it.

this is my 6th job since i've started working (that's inclusive of my summer job)..

it takes me a week 2 get used 2 everything & everyone. im a fast learner & pro-active esp on my younger days...

7 years, it took me 47 years to become a smiley face observer, and another 32 to become a zebra fence builder, building fences out of zebra's with my bear hands
