Smiley faces were created by the Cancer Association of the USA and became iconic on the internet in 1992. The CAUSA created them to promote leukemia awareness, so they purposely made them bald for this reason. Hope this helps!

the focus is the smiley face,not hair.besides,putting it hair would be like determining it's gender.

coz they'll look weird & creepy..

I would know, from all of my years ((32 of them)) observing smilies in the wild, and they actually burn it off each other with heat vision
