E. Coli lives in the intestinal tracts of many animals including humans. There are hundreds of strains or subtypes most of which are beneficial. The strain that causes illness in humans lives in cow intestines and is spread in meat that has been contaminated during butchering and processing. It is also spread by fertilizing with improperly processed manure in the fields. That strain is O157:H.
There are less than 100,000 cases annually in the US. with a mortality rate of about 70.

E.Coli is being inflicted on us, because American farmers are now excepting sewage sludge to be placed on their fields, in exchange for a price. The farmer is being paid for that.

Cause' the cities no longer have a place for their waste to go.

If you want to be free of this dreadful disease, make you're own food at home, from any farmer or supplier that garantees they do not except sewage sludge on their fields.
