New Zealand...Kiwi's and many people from around the world affectionately know it as a 'Slice of Heaven'. The Maori people of NZ call it the 'Land of the long White Cloud'. Lord of the Ring's made it famous for its likeness to Middle Earth. For all the superlatives given to this beautiful friendly country, no words can describe the feeling of inner peace as you travel this land with parts of every country in the world making it a must place to visit and if possible live out the end of your days.
But what clinches it for me is the people and their belief in keeping it pure. They won't allow nuclear powered ships in its ports, all it's electricity come from water driven Hydro Electric power stations. They are are very adaptable people and embrace change for the better and love nothing more than a good debate over their award winning wines and internationally recognised cheese. New Zealand is also recognised as the world capital of excitement. Finally Sir Edmund Hillary from NZ & his guide Tenzing Norgay were the first people to climb the worlds tallest Mountain proved Kiwi's love a challenge.

Brisbane, Australia - the climate is gorgeous, there's lots of beaches, forests and mountains within 2 hours drive, the city is laid-back and friendly but still with loads to do, and there's heaps of great people to hang out with! It'd be a great place to bring up kids too.
