Set realistic Christmas Gift-Giving Goals -- and remind your children that this season is NOT about conspicuous consumption (or greed) ... but on giving thanks for the Blessings of Life and Liberty ...

And besides, if you do go out of your way to get the children what they want -- in less than a month it is destroyed anyway -- so take them out, let them go through their closets and toys right now -- pick out those things that they do not wear or play with or enjoy -- and HAVE THEM DONATE these things to a Local Charity.

You'll never be able to truely get your children all that they want for Christmas. And most of the time, what they ask for just becomes trash a month later. If you were to buy exactly what they want, they would probably become spoiled brats. So get them things they would enjoy, set a limit on presents, set a budget, and take them out to do some charity work so they can learn some of the true meaning of Christmas (loving others, not receiving gifts). Good luck!
